Jameson’s is always good…

Rich and chatted about ideology at the State Fair…we kind of went with left leading libertarian.

Again, I’m not sure about the irony. I agree Champaign would be a blip, but the feds granted the land to Illinois to build a college. The feds never intended to be a drain on its treasury. It’s a good example of federalism when we think about it.

What’s ironic about it is that Champaign wouldn’t even be a blip on the map if it weren’t for the fact that the federal government created a land grant college there.

And trust me, I’m a liberal, and Rich is not “left-leaning.”

His about as right-down-the-middle as they come, although he is certainly a populist.

The rest of your column makes some decent points. Thank you for admitting Democrats aren’t Socialists. I admit that Republicans aren’t Heartless.

Hilarious is Varoga and the Democrats are representing those in the Tea Party to have “dangerous notions.” Yep, wanting responsible leadership, transparency, ceasing wasteful spending and good representation of the people, rather than partisan interests is “dangerous.” LOL

Also free speech and less government in our lives…LOL

Have to wonder why the Dems and Varoga are attacking a non-partisan organization who wants to improve the quality of life in America?

Scary stuff….really dangerous stuff, this “of the people, by the people and for the people” is! At least to the Democrats and Varoga…LOL!
