Greg Blankenship, Chairman

Greg Blankenship is founder and president of the Illinois Alliance for Growth.  Blankenship is also the founder of the Illinois Policy Institute a state-based free market think tank where he spearheaded the organization from 2002 to 2008.  While there he testified before the General Assembly on a host of tax and fiscal issue and published opinion pieces in both the state and national media.

Prior to the Institute Blankenship worked in the corporate public affairs arena in the telecommunications industry, served 10 years in the Air National Guard and was a member of the staff at the Washington, DC based Center for Security Policy.

Blankenship holds degrees from the University of Illinois and Loyola University in Chicago.  He resides in Springfield, Illinois.
